This screen displays the routine for a specified JIT part.
PLANT
Display only. This screen displays information about the routing used in this plant to manufacture the item.
PART NUMBER/DESCRIPTION
Display only. The item that is manufactured using this routing. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
BATCH QUANTITY
Display only. Not displayed for parts with a batch quantity of 1. The batch quantity is the standard quantity of an item that is produced in each production run.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Display only. This is the date when the routing comes into effect.
SELECT
Optional. Type an X in this field and press either F9 to access the Routing File Maintenance conversation, F11 to access the Bill of Documents Inquiry conversation, or F12 to access the Bill of Documents Maintenance conversation. If you enter an X in the Select field and press Enter, you will return to the Routing Retrieval Inquiry Function Select screen.
OPERATION NUMBER
Display only. The operation number serves as a unique identification of the step and defines the sequence in which the steps are performed within the routine. Since JIT parts do not have alternate operation, there is no line number.
OPERATION DESCRIPTION
Display only. User defined.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter in which the operation is processed. Workcenter numbers that are numeric and greater than or equal 900 are reserved as miscellaneous cost workcenters.
OPERATION OFFSET DAYS
Display only. For JIT operations routed through standard workcenters, the operation offset days defines which days (back scheduled from the due date of the last day of the flow schedule for the current part/revision level) load will occur on the operation's workcenter. This information is necessary to perform capacity planning on individual group technologies/machines within or on JIT cells or lines.
LABOR HOURS
Display only. The standard number of labor hours that contribute to the cost of each part produced in the workcenter.
MACHINE LOAD
Display only. The standard amount of machine load which contributes to the cost of each part produced in the workcenter.
SENSITIVITY FLAG
Display only. Only shows for operation types 6-7 and for parts made in batches. An 'N' indicates that the fixed time load is truly fixed. A 'Y' indicates the fixed time load is only fixed as a function of batch quantity.
SENSITIVITY FACTOR
Display only. Only shows for operation types 6-7 for parts made in batches that are sensitive (see Sensitivity Flag). Factor is used to determine the threshold at which another batch will be needed. This field will be numeric and only appears for parts that are produced in batches.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - IN
Display only. Identifies the ECO that brings an operation into effectivity. Must be defined on the ECO file.
EFFECTIVITY - IN DATE
Display only. The dates on which the routing first becomes effective.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - OUT
Display only. Identifies the engineering change that causes the operation to be removed from the routing. Must be defined on the ECO file.
EFFECTIVITY - OUT DATE
Display only. The date after which the operation is no longer effective.
OPERATION LEADTIME
Display only. The number of days required to complete an outside processed operation.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the Function Select screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F9 - Enter the Routing Maintenance facility. Optionally, you may select the operation you wish to maintain from this screen by entering an 'X' in the select column.
