The Copy Routing JIT Detail Select screen will be displayed only if the copy routing maintenance code (2) is entered on the Copy Routing Prompt screen. This screen will be displayed for a JIT part.
PLANT
Display only. The plant that contains the routing to be copied. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
COPY TO PLANT
Display only. The plant where the routing will be created. It must exist on the Plant/Warehouse Description File.
COPY FROM PART
Display only. The part number from which the routing is to be copied Must be an active, manufacturing or transfer part.
COPY TO PART
Display only. The part number for which the routing will be created. Must be an active, manufacturing or transfer part.
COPY AS OF EFFECTIVITY DATE
Display only. If entered, only those operations that are effective on the selected date will be copied to the new routing. If 'ALL' is entered, all operations will be copied to the new routing. This date will be used to limit the operations to be copied or displayed.
SET EFFECTIVITY IN DATE TO
Display only. If entered, the operations will have this date as their effectivity date. If not entered and the copy date is ALL, the effectivity dates will be copied from the routing of the copied part. If not entered and the copied date is entered, then the effectivity dates in the created routing will be blank.
FROM OPERATION NUMBER AND OPERATION LINE NUMBER
Display only. The unique, sequential number assigned to the manufacturing, assembly, or miscellaneous cost step on the routing. The first three digits are the operation number; the last two digits are the operation line number. This field will be used to define the operation number from which a routing will be copied. If maintenance code option '1' is selected, this field will be used along with the To Operation Number field to enter a range of operations to copy. If maintenance code '2' is selected, this field will be used to select operations to be displayed.
TO OPERATION NUMBER AND OPERATION LINE NUMBER
Display only. The unique, sequential number assigned to the manufacturing, assembly, or miscellaneous cost step on the routing. The first three digits are the operation number; the last two digits are the operation line number. This field will be used to define the operation to which a routing will be copied. If maintenance code option '1' is selected, this field will be used along with the From Operation Number field to enter a range of operations to copy. If maintenance code '2' is selected, this field will be used to select operations to be displayed.
SELECT
Optional. Enter an ‘X’ in this field to select routing operations to be copied.
OPERATION NUMBER
Display only. The operation number serves as a unique identification of the step and defines the sequence in which the steps are performed within the routine. Since JIT parts do not have alternate operation, there is no line number.
OPERATION DESCRIPTION
Display only. User defined.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter in which the operation is processed. Workcenter numbers that are numeric and greater than or equal 900 are reserved as miscellaneous cost workcenters.
OPERATION OFFSET DAYS
Display only. Number of days the part is worked on before being received as the parent part.
LABOR HOURS
Display only. The standard number of labor hours that contribute to the cost of each part produced in the workcenter.
MACHINE LOAD
Display only. The standard amount of machine load which contributes to the cost of each part produced in the workcenter.
SENSITIVITY FLAG
Display only. Only shows for operation types 6-7 and for parts made in batches. An 'N' indicates that the fixed time load is truly fixed. A 'Y' indicates the fixed time load is only fixed as a function of batch quantity.
SENSITIVITY FACTOR
Display only. Only shows for operation types 6-7 for parts made in batches that are sensitive (see Sensitivity Flag). Factor is used to determine the threshold at which another batch will be needed. This field will be numeric and only appears for parts that are produced in batches.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - IN
Display only. Identifies the ECO that brings an operation into effectivity. Must be defined on the ECO file.
EFFECTIVITY - IN DATE
Display only. The dates on which the routing first becomes effective.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - OUT
Display only. Identifies the engineering change that causes the operation to be removed from the routing. Must be defined on the ECO file.
EFFECTIVITY - OUT DATE
Display only. The date after which the operation is no longer effective.
OPERATION LEADTIME
Display only. The number of days required to complete an outside processed operation.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update changes only if the copy to part was entered on the Copy Routing Prompt screen and if all operations selected do not already exist for this part. If no copy to part was specified, the Copy Routing Part Select screen is displayed.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without update.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without updating changes.
