This screen displays a list of all workcenters that make up a specific department.
DEPARTMENT NUMBER
Display only. The department number entered on the previous screen.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Display only. The user defined department description.
SELECT
Optional. Enter an X in this field and press F12 to view further details about the key facility. Pressing F9 or F11 will allow you access to the maintenance of the workcenter and maintenance of the key facility, respectively.
ACTIVITY CODE
Display only. An asterisk (*) in this field indicates the workcenter is inactive.
PLANT
Display only. The plant in which the workcenter which resides in the department is defined.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter which is contained in the department.
WORKCENTER DESCRIPTION
Display only. The standard description associated with the workcenter.
KEY FACILITY
Display only. The key facility associated with the workcenter listed. The key facility number uniquely identifies a key facility. Those work areas most likely to present capacity problems should be defined as key facilities so that the load on these work areas can be monitored through key facility loading. A key facility may be a workcenter, department, or group of workcenters. A workcenter is defined as being a part of a key facility through Workcenter Maintenance.
HOURS PER DAY
Display only. Defines the available working hours in a day at this workcenter. Will be used to schedule start and due dates for Labor Requirements operations in the Shop Floor Control module.
EFFICIENCY PERCENT
Display only. This figure describes the ratio between the expected (or "earned") hours - based on the standard piece rates and quantities completed - and actual hours completed. It can be used as a standard against which to report labor and machine performance in the Shop Floor Control module.
UTILIZATION PERCENT
Display only. This figure describes the percentage of total time spent at the workcenter which is anticipated to be "direct" (i.e. charged to specific orders). It can be used as a standard against which to report actual performance in the Shop Floor Control module.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the Function Select screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F9 - Enter the Workcenter Maintenance Program.
F11 - Enter the Key Facility Maintenance Program.
F12 - Enter the Key Facility Inquiry Program.
