This screen allows you to perform the maintenance function selected on the Function Select screen for the specified production center.
PLANT
Display only. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File Category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID.
PRODUCTION CENTER
Display only. The number of the production center for which maintenance is being performed.
SYNCHRONIZATION DATE
Display only for change maintenance codes. The last date on which synch point processing was performed for this production center.
PRODUCTION CENTER DESCRIPTION
Required. Enter a descriptive name for the production center.
FAMILY
Required. Enter the production center family with which this production center should be associated. Used to group like production centers together so that they will appear consecutively on the Part Production Schedule Maintenance Detail Screen, so as to ease entry of a part's schedules when it is produced in many different production centers or cells. Also permits a default UOM for centers. Families are defined on Reference File category D77, Production Center Families.
CAPACITY
Required. Enter the daily unit production capacity of the production center.
CAPACITY UM
Required. Enter the unit of measure common to all JIT parts produced in this production center. The unit of measure defaults from category D77 for the specified family.
CENTER TOLERANCE PERCENT
Optional. Enter the percentage by which actual daily production may exceed normal daily production before the system will produce one-time CON cards. To see a detailed explanation of this field, type an "X" to the left and press F11.
MAINTENANCE HORIZON DAYS
Optional. Must be numeric and right-justified. Users may schedule the part this many days into the future the Production Schedule Maintenance Program. This horizon may be overridden in Daily or Weekly Production Schedule Maintenance by entering a valid end date on the Function Select screen. If this field is left blank, maintenance may be performed to the end of the Calendar File.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process transaction.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without update.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Production Center inquiry without updating changes.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without updating changes.
F15 - Respecify the production center number.
