This screen allows you to inquire on the production schedules for a particular part. The Production Center associated with this part is displayed. The present daily production and availability quantities will be initially displayed for the first four days starting with the entered begin date. The quantity over or under schedule is also initially displayed for the Production Center. Quantities beyond these four days can be displayed by pressing F6 - Next Screen.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part number specified on the Function Select screen for which the production schedule inquiry is being performed.
BEGIN DATE
Display only. The first day for which production schedule inquiry will be displayed.
RUN UNIT
Display only. This is the load incurred to the default production center (defined on the Part Master File) to manufacture one unit of this part. This load is expressed in the unit of measure of the capacity of the default production center. This load will also be used in other production centers when a part/production center relationship has not been created or where the run units was not entered when the relationship was created. When a part/production relationship does exist, the run units used to calculate the part's load on that production center will come from this record.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The unit of measure of the specified part.
FIRM DATE
Display only. Production scheduled to this date will have a status of firm.
PLANNING BALANCE
Display only. The amount of inventory available for manufacturing. This total is calculated as follows:
All inventory at the manufacturing warehouse that is in a balance type available for planning.
Plus Distribution inventory at any distribution warehouses for the plant that are available for planning (as specified on the Warehouse Description File).
Minus Any inventory reserved for sales orders, if any balance types are available for both planning and distribution and if sales orders are not considered by the planning modules (as specified on the Warehouse Description File).
WIP BALANCE
Display only. The quantity of work in process for this JIT production type part. This will result mainly from Deduct Point transactions of components issued to a production center when there is a lead time between the issue of the components and receipt of this finished parent part.
PRODUCTION CENTER
Display only. The Production Center for the specified part.
DAILY PRODUCTION
Display only. The daily supply quantity is shown in the current production schedule in daily buckets. The schedule is retrieved for the production center for the specified part within the current schedule period.
The over/under production quantity is calculated by subtracting a flow authorization receipt quantity from the part's expected production quantity. If this quantity has an asterisk (*) next to it, then the part's scheduled production in this production center is greater than the receipt quantity, which means that this part is behind schedule. If no asterisk is displayed next to the quantity, then more parts have been received in this production center than were scheduled for production. This means that the part is ahead of production.
SYNCHRONIZATION DATE
Display only. Synchronization Date is used to calculate the over or under schedule amount for the part. Over/under is calculated by summing the amounts over/under schedule starting from the Synch Date through, but not including, today's date. The Synch date is displayed on this screen when F12=Fold/Truncate is pressed.
TOTAL LOAD
Display only. The Production Center Total Load per day is calculated by multiplying each part run unit by its corresponding daily schedule and summing these amounts into a total load figure. The figure displayed is the Percent Load for all parts in the production center schedule, not just the part specified on this screen. This information is displayed by pressing F12=Fold/Truncate.
TOTAL UNITS
Display only. The total units for the specified part is displayed.
AVAILABLE QUANTITY
Display only. The available quantity for the specified part is displayed. This figure does not include the forecast amount, nor does it include non-posted changes to the production schedule.
