This screen displays the configuration parameters for a specified part number. All the fields on this screen are for display only. The part status decode from the Reference File (Category D88) is displayed on the first line of all screens.
PLANT
Display only. This screen displays information for the part within this plant. The plant was specified on the Function Select screen.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part number for which the information is retrieved from the Part Master File and displayed.
PART STATUS DECODE
Display only. The part status code determines valid transactions for a part throughout the system. This field defaults from the Part Master and can be changed in the Part Master Maintenance conversation. Status codes must be valid on Reference File category D88. The status code description is reverse-imaged if it is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
SALES ORDER PROCESSING CONFIGURATION
Display only. Specifies if sales order entry and pricing rules will be processed for this part. Valid values are:
Y - Configured sales order processing (with standard pricing or configured pricing)
N - Standard sales order processing and pricing
MANUFACTURING CONFIGURATION PROCESSING
Display only. Specifies if manufacturing rules will be processed for this part. Valid values are:
Y - Configured manufacturing orders and requisitions
N - Standard manufacturing order
MULTI-LEVEL FORECAST FLAG
Display only. Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). This field is used to explode the part's forecast through the lower levels of the bill of material, provided that this flag is set to Y for the part's components. The Multi-Level Forecast Flag drives master scheduling, requirements planning, and purchasing schedules while it provides for forecasts to be consumed against actual component requirements.
SALES ORDER ENTRY GROUP
Display only. The sales order entry group this part is a member of, if any.
SALES ORDER ENTRY SUBGROUP
Display only. The sales order entry subgroup this part is a member of, if any.
PRICING GROUP
Display only. The pricing group this part is a member of, if any.
PRICING SUBGROUP
Display only. The pricing subgroup this part is a member of, if any.
MANUFACTURING ORDER GROUP
Display only. The manufacturing group this part is a member of, if any.
MANUFACTURING ORDER SUBGROUP
Display only. The manufacturing subgroup this part is a member of, if any.
SALES ORDER ENTRY VERSION NUMBER
Display only. The version of the sales order entry rules defined for this part that will be processed.
PRODUCT REFERENCE CODE
Display only. The type of manufacturing configuration that will processed. Product reference codes and requirements generation methods are:
CODE REQUIREMENTS GENERATION METHOD
0 Standard component requirements Standard labor requirements
1 Standard component requirements Rule-based labor requirements
2 Rule-based component requirements Standard labor requirements
3 Rule-based component requirements Rule-based labor requirements
PRICING RULE VERSION NUMBER
Display only. The version of the pricing rules defined for this part that will be processed.
CONFIGURATION CODE TEMPLATE
Display only. A template code is valid if this part uses a configuration code. The template divides the 50-character configuration code into meaningful elements. Define the template code and its related information using the Template Code Maintenance program (EC160E). You may not enter a template for parts that have a Configuration Code Option = '0' (configuration code not used).
MANUFACTURING ORDER RULE VERSION NUMBER
Display only. The version of the manufacturing rules defined for this part that will be processed.
CONFIGURATION CODE OPTION
Display only. Use this option to specify the way the configuration codes will be used by the specified configured part. The configuration code uniquely identifies the specific configuration of an item. It is generated during order entry and may be maintained with the Configuration Code Maintenance program. A part must be sales order configured and either lot controlled or lot assignable in order to use configuration codes . If you use the configuration code option, you must use the same option consistently for a part across all plants in the system. Valid values are:
0 - Configuration codes are not used.
1 - Configuration codes are used. One lot per configuration code will be assigned. Costs are based on the standard cost for the part through Product Costing.
2 - Configuration codes are used. Many lots per configuration code will be assigned. Costs are based on the standard cost of the part through Product Costing.
3 - Configuration codes are used. One lot per configuration code will be assigned. Costs are based on the configured cost of the part through Configuration Costing.
4 - Configuration codes are used. Many lots per configuration code will be assigned. Costs are based on the configured cost of the part through Configuration Costing.
STANDARD ROUTING DEFAULT PART
Display only. The alternate routing that will be used during standard labor requirements generation instead of the current part's routing. This field is used only for manufacturing order configured parts.
STANDARD BOM DEFAULT PART
Display only. The alternate bill of material that will be used during standard component requirements generation instead of the current part's bill of material.
RULE-BASED ROUTING PART
Display only. The alternate routing that will be referenced during rule-based labor requirements generation instead of the current part's routing.
COMMAND KEYS
