This screen is used to enter flow receipts; it is particularly useful in bar coding environments.  Fields may be protected or non-displayed according to the value of options defined in the Options screen, which is accessed by pressing F14.

For the Mass Entry screen, parts are received into the on-hand balance type.  If you need to specify a using stock location, access the Options screen and set the Immediate Processing option to 'N.'  After you have entered flow receipts, press F11 to access the Review screen (JT120S04), and enter the using stock location in the Producing Location field.  To consolidate multiple flow receipts, press F8-Consolidation from the Review screen.

PLANT

Display only.  Identifies the plant in which inventory is received.  The plant that you entered on the Flow Receipts screen (JT120S01) defaults to this screen.

PRODUCTION CENTER

Required.  Enter the production center where the parts being received were manufactured.  If the Protect Production Center option is set to 'Y' and the production center is valid, the field is protected and is display only.

PART NUMBER

Required.  Enter the number of the parent part that is to be received into inventory.  The part must be active on the Part Master File.  It must also be a manufactured, transfer, or build-thru part with a JIT production type.

NUMBER OF CONTAINERS

Optional.  Enter the number of containers of the parent part that are to be received.  This number is multiplied by the quantity per container (as defined on the Part/Production Center Relationship File) to determine the number of parts received.

This field is displayed only if both the Display Quantity Field option and the Containers Counting option are set to 'Y'.  If you do not enter a number in this field, the value will default to 1.

USING STOCK LOCATION

Optional.  The contents of this field depend on the part's relief type and CONBON Control Code, as defined on the Part Master File.  For a complete description of this field, type an X in the field to the left and press F11.

QUANTITY RECEIVED

Optional.  This field is displayed only if the Display Quantity Field option is set to 'Y' and the Containers Counting option is set to 'N'.  If you leave this field blank, the value will default to 1.  If you enter a value in this field, it must be right-justified.

LOT NUMBER

Required for lot-controlled parts.  Leave blank for non-lot-controlled parts.  This field is only displayed if the Display Lot Control option is set to 'Y' on the Application System Control Maintenance screen (IC160S01), or if the part that is being processed is a lot-controlled part.  If the parent lot number exists on the Lot Control File, it must be a manufacturing lot type with a status of open.

You have several options with this field.

o  You may enter an existing lot number in this field.

o  You may create a new lot by entering a new lot number in this field.

o  If Automatic Lot Number Assignment has been set to Y (yes) in Reference File category Y34, a lot can be assigned automatically using the next available lot number.

o  If Automatic Lot Number Assignment has been set to N (no) in Reference File category Y34, a new lot number will not be assigned automatically.  You may, however, enter either an existing lot number or a new lot number in this field.  If you enter a new lot number in this field and press Enter, the lot number will be added to the Lot Control File (IC150M).

If the lot is on hold, an error message is displayed and the lot number is reverse imaged.  No inventory may be received into or issued from a lot that is on hold.

LOT FIFO DATE

Optional.  This field is displayed only if the Display Lot Control option is set to 'Y' or the part is lot controlled.  The date is used to establish the age of the lot-controlled inventory so that the oldest inventory is used first and inventory obsolescence is minimized.  You must enter a date if the part is lot controlled and the lot FIFO date does not already exist.  Otherwise, you may leave this field blank.  This field is displayed only in a lot-controlled environment.

ENTER QUALITY CONTROL SPECIFICATIONS

Optional.  To enter quality control specifications for a lot, type 'Y' (yes).  The default value is 'N' (no).  This field is displayed only if the Lot Control option is set to 'Y' or the part is lot controlled.  You may also enter or change control specifications through the Review screen.

PREVIOUS TRANSACTIONS

Display only.  The following fields identify the characteristics of the posted transactions.

Time - The time that the transaction was posted.

Cell - The cell that produces the part.

Part Number - The parent part number that is received into inventory.

Revision Level - Only components effective for this revision level of the parent part will be backflushed.  The revision level that was valid on the date that was entered via F22-New Transaction Date defaults to this field.

Quantity - The quantity of the parent part that has been received.  This value is always the number of single items for whatever option that you selected on the Mass Entry Options screen (JT120S05).

Lot Number - The lot number of the lot-controlled part.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Process request.

F4    - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned.  If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.

F10   - Return to the Function Select screen.  If the Immediate Processing option is set to 'N', you must press F10 twice.
