Maintenance of Flow Authorizations (FAs)

When a part is changed from JIT to MRP production, FAs are handled in the following way:

When Master Scheduling and Requirements Planning are run, past-due flow authorizations are closed.  In-process FAs are closed and updated to end the day before the current date.  Flow authorizations beginning on the current date or on a date in the future are deleted.  All associated flow requirement records are updated in the same manner as their associated flow authorization.

All future production schedule is rescheduled as discrete manufacturing orders.
