TOLERANCE PERCENT
Display only. This value can be used as automatic check when cycle count adjustments are made for this part. The adjustment quantity is divided by the activity since last count and compared to this value. If the calculated value is higher than the tolerance percent the adjustment will not be allowed. Tolerance checking can be overridden by using the default cycle count adjustment codes defined when cycle counting is installed. Tolerance percentages can be specified through the Warehouse Description Maintenance facility by ABC class or can be set on a part-by-part basis through Warehouse Balance Maintenance.
YEAR-TO-DATE ADJUSTMENT AMOUNT
Display only. This is the value of the cycle count adjustments made for the current year, calculated by extending the year to-date adjustments by the part's unit cost. This value is currently rounded to two (2) decimal places even though unit costs allow either five (5) or seven (7) decimal precision due to expected need for more decimal precision to the left.
TOLERANCE VALUE
Display only. This value can also be used as a check when cycle count adjustments are made. The value of the adjustment is compared to this value. If the calculated value is higher than the tolerance value the adjustment will not be allowed. Tolerance checking can be overridden by using the default cycle count adjustment codes defined when cycle counting is installed. Tolerance amounts can be specified through the Warehouse Description Maintenance facility by ABC class or on a part-by-part basis through Warehouse Balance Maintenance.
YEAR-TO-DATE ACTIVITY AMOUNT
Display only. This is the year-to-date activity for the part multiplied by the part's unit cost. This value is currently rounded to two (2) decimal places even though unit costs allow five (5) or seven (7) decimal precision because of the expected need for more decimals to the left of the decimal point due to multiplication effects of numerous quantities.
