This screen allows you to view locations in which the specified part is stored, or to enter locations to which the part will be transferred.
COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
Display only. The company and warehouse where the inventory will be transferred. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
PART NUMBER/PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. The item being transferred. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
PART TYPE
Display only. The part type for the specified item. It is retrieved from the Part Master File.
FROM STOCK LOCATION
Display only. The location where the inventory will be transferred from. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
FROM BALANCE TYPE
Display only. The inventory will be removed from this balance type. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
CONTROL QUANTITY
Required if the total of the to transfers does not equal the control quantity originally entered on the Function Select screen. Enter the total quantity actually transferred.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The unit of measure that is used for the quantity field. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
FROM LOT NUMBER
Display only. Inventory in this lot is being transferred. It was entered on the Function Select screen. The field is displayed only in lot-controlled environments.
TRANSACTION TYPE
Display only. If this transactions is backing out a previously entered transaction, "REVERSAL" appears in this area of the screen.
BALANCE
Display only. The balance currently on hand for the stocking location and balance type. This field is updated as transfer quantities are entered.
STOCK LOCATION
Optional. Enter the location(s) to which the part will be transferred. The screen is displayed initially with all locations at which the part is currently stocked. Locations entered must be valid locations defined on the Location Validation File.
TRANSFER QUANTITY
Required. Enter the quantity to be transferred to this location. If the total of all quantities in this field differs from the control quantity entered on the Function Select screen, you must change one or more transfer quantities or the value in the Control Quantity field. If this is a sourcing location (in reversal transactions only) and it does not have the amount of inventory that you requested to be transferred, a warning message will be displayed when you press Enter to process the transaction.
BALANCE TYPE
Required. Enter the balance type into which the part is transferred at this location. Parts may be transferred into multiple balance types within the same location. Balance types are defined on the System Control File.
BALANCE TYPE 1
Display only. The quantity currently available at the stocking location for this balance type. The heading is retrieved from the System Control File. This is the on-hand balance type for manufacturing.
BALANCE TYPE 2
Display only. The quantity currently available at the stocking location for this balance type. The heading is retrieved from the System Control File.
BALANCE TYPE 3
Display only. The quantity currently available at the stocking location for this balance type. The heading is retrieved from the System Control File.
BALANCE TYPE 4
Display only. The quantity currently available at the stocking location for this balance type. The heading is retrieved from the System Control File.
TOTAL
Display only. The total quantity of the part at all locations for each balance type.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process transaction.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without update.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Inventory Stock Status Inquiry Program without processing the transaction.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the transaction.
F15 - Redisplay the screen with the original data.
