This screen allows you to identify the physical inventory ticket maintenance transaction that you wish to process. Once you have defined your transaction, press Enter to process your request.
Depending on the company/warehouse combination associated with your request, pressing Enter will either take you to the Tickets by Part Detail (IC175S02) or the Tickets by Location Detail (IC175S03) screen.
COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
Required. These fields identify the company/warehouse location where the physical inventory ticket will be maintained. The default values are taken from Reference File category 428. To change the company/warehouse combination, press F17. Note that the company/warehouse combination entered in this field determines whether you proceed to the Part Detail or Location Detail screen.
If the Sort By Part/Loc field, established for the selected company/warehouse on Reference File category C25 (Physical Inventory Parameters) is '1', you will proceed to the Part Detail screen. If the value of the Sort By Part/Loc field is '2', you will proceed to the Location Detail screen.
BEGINNING TICKET NUMBER
Required, depending on the maintenance code; must be blank if adding a ticket. This field is used to select a physical inventory ticket for maintenance. If you are cancelling a range of tickets, this field identifies the first ticket number of the range. If entered, the number in this field must exist and be valid on the Physical Inventory Ticket file.
ENDING TICKET NUMBER
Must be blank for all maintenance options except cancel; cancel is optional. This field is used to help select physical inventory ticket numbers for maintenance. If you are cancelling a range of tickets, this field identifies the cut-off point for the range. If entered, the number in this field must exist and be a valid record on the Physical Inventory Ticket File. It must not have a status of 'cancelled' or 'posted'.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. This field identifies the type of maintenance that you want to perform. Choose a number from the list below:
1 - Add a Ticket
2 - Enter Counted Quantities
3 - Change a Ticket
4 - Cancel a Ticket
5 - Inquire on a Ticket
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process the request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without processing the entered data.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F17 - Change the company/warehouse combination for the physical inventory ticket being maintained. The current company/warehouse is displayed on the top left-hand side of the screen.
