This screen displays detailed information about the manufacturing orders related to the selected sales order. Highlighted manufacturing orders are on manufactured configured hold. Several function keys are provided on this screen to ease the transfer between various Inventory Control inquiry conversations. Please review the function key glossary at the end of this help text page for complete details.
NOTE: If this screen is called through the Inventory Control module, these function keys are available as listed below. However, many of these function keys are not available if this screen is called from the Sales Order Maintenance or Sales Order Inquiry screens. If the Manufacturing Order Status Summary screen is called by either of these aforementioned screens, the only command keys available are: F14 - MO Detail and F18 - Comment.
SALES ORDER NUMBER
Display only. The sales order and release number entered on the Function Select screen.
CUSTOMER
Display only. The name of the bill-to customer associated with the sales order number.
SELECT
Optional. Type an 'X' and press F8 to "fast path" into the Order Shortage detail screen, F9 to display the Manufacturing Order Maintenance Select screen with the order number defaulted, F11 to display the Labor Requirements Inquiry Select screen with the order number defaulted (if the Shop Floor module is installed), F12 to display the Inventory Stock Status detail screen for the part number associated with the manufacturing order number, F13 to display the Time-Phased Part Availability Select screen for the part number associated with the order, and F14 to display the M.O. status detail screen for the selected order.

However, many of these function keys are not available if this screen is called from the Sales Order Maintenance or Sales Order Inquiry screens. If the Manufacturing Order Status Summary screen is called by either of these aforementioned screens, the only command keys available are: F14 - MO Detail and F18 - Comment.
ORDER NUMBER
Display only. Displays the number of the manufacturing order. If blank, no M.O. has been created for that sales order line.
ORDER STATUS
Display only. Displays the manufacturing order status. Valid codes:
P - Planned
F - Firmed
O - Open (or Released)
C - Closed
Z - Accounting Closed
LINE NUMBER
Display only. The sales order line number corresponding to a specific line item.
PLANNER CODE
Display only. Displays the analyst or planner code of the person responsible for the order.
ORDER QUANTITY
Display only. Displays the number of units to be produced.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The number of the line item part.
QUANTITY RECEIVED
Display only. Displays the number of completed units received into inventory.
BALANCE DUE
Display only. Displays the number of units ordered but not received into inventory.
DATE OF LAST RECEIPT
Display only. Displays the date on which the last receipt was recorded into inventory.
PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. This field provides more information for identifying the part number.
ORDER DATE
Display only. Displays the date that the order was created.
START DATE
Display only. Displays the date on which the order is scheduled to start.
DUE DATE
Display only. Displays the date on which the order is due.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to Function Select screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit the program and return to menu.
F8 - Display the Order Shortage detail screen for the selected manufacturing order.
F9 - Enter Manufacturing Order Maintenance, defaulting the selected order number to the Maintenance Select screen.
F11 - Display the Labor Requirements Inquiry Select screen (if the Shop Floor module is installed) using the selected order number as the default.
F12 - Display the Inventory Stock Status detail screen for the part number associated with the order (no record selection needed).
F13 - Display the Time-Phased Part Availability Select screen with part number displayed defaulted to the screen.
F14 - Display the M.O. Status Inquiry detail screen for the selected order number.
F18 - Call the standard Comments Master Maintenance Program (CF190E) to add comments to the manufacturing order. Comments can be viewed for rework orders either with or without components.
F19 - Detach manufacturing order from its corresponding sales order (available only when called from the sales order maintenance conversation).
F24 - Display additional command keys that are valid for the current screen.
