This screen helps you to identify available inventory in other warehouses and related plants. All inventory quantities are displayed in stockkeeping units. Only parts with active warehouse balance records are displayed.
PART NUMBER/PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. The number and description of the part for which the stock status inquiry is being performed.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The unit of measure in which the part is stocked.
SELECT
Optional. Place an 'X' in this field and press a function key to perform the function for the line item.
PLANT
Display only. The name of the plant in which the part is stocked.
COMPANY/WAREHOUSE
Display only. The name of the company/warehouse in which the part is stocked.
INVENTORY QUANTITY
Display only. This figure is calculated based on the type of warehouse:
1 - For a distribution warehouse, this field contains the sum of the inventory held in balance types considered available for distribution.
2 - For the manufacturing warehouse, this field contains the sum of the inventory held in balances that are considered on-hand and available for manufacturing. The inventory held in the other balance types may be reviewed by pressing F11.
ON-ORDER QUANTITY
Display only. The quantity that has been ordered but not received against firm and open manufacturing and purchase orders.
ALLOCATED QUANTITY
Display only. The quantity of the allocated inventory required to satisfy existing open orders regardless of horizon. Allocated quantity includes the following:
o The quantity reserved for filling manufacturing orders, transfer orders, and sales orders (MFG).
o The quantity reserved for filling flow authorizations (this quantity is updated when a part availability order shortage report is requested).
o The quantity reserved for filling Synchro offset releases and delivery point backlogs (this quantity is taken into account only if the user has set the Synchro Allocated Quantity Update flag to 'Yes' on the Daily Batch Parameter category G26).
The system retrieves these quantities from the Warehouse Balance File.
RESERVED QUANTITY
Display only. The quantity that has been reserved for sales orders.
BACKORDER QUANTITY
Display only. The quantity that has been placed on backorder for all sales order line items sourced out of this warehouse.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display detail screens.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu. If this screen was accessed from another conversation, pressing F3 will return you to that original conversation.
F11 - Display inventory figures by balance type for the part.
F12 - Enter the Inventory Stock Status Inquiry Detail screen for the selected company/warehouse/plant and this part number.
F13 - Display the Time-Phased Part Availability Inquiry Select screen for the selected company/warehouse/ plant, defaulting this part number.
F14 - Display the Part Transaction History Detail screen for the selected company/warehouse/plant and this part number.
