Defining the Lot Control Option for the System
A single lot control option is set for the entire system on the Application System Control File, which is found on the Material Planning Menu. This option can be either Yes or No. You should set this flag to Yes if you wish to use lot control anywhere in the system. If you set this option to No, lot control information will not appear on screens and reports throughout the system.
Note: If you decide to make your environment non-lot-controlled, you must do so before making any lot-controlled transactions.
