Container Inventory Transactions
Once containers are defined for use with container management, you can use the following conversations to record container inventory balance adjustments and stock transfers:
· Container Inventory Adjustment
· Multi-Line Container Inventory Adjustment
· Container Stock Transfer
· Multi-Line Container Stock Transfer
When you record an inventory adjustment or transfer, you must specify the container holder for which you are increasing or decreasing inventory balances. The holder can be any valid plant, customer, or vendor. The system then tracks the inventory balance of the container at each of the holders. This information is available to you through the following reports and online inquiries:
· Container Situation Reports (by container owner and by container holder)
· Inventory Container Status Inquiry
· Inventory Container Holder Status Inquiry
· Container Inventory Transaction History Inquiry
· Container Transaction History Inquiry
