Before an EDC (electronic data collection) transaction is processed, three things must occur:
1. The transaction must be uploaded.
2. A message must be written to the asynchronous monitor to process the transaction.
3. The asynchronous monitor must be active and process the transaction.
This screen is used to write the asynchronous message. It is also used before uploading new transactions to determine if there are any previously uploaded transactions that have not yet been processed. If such transactions exist, the screen is used to remove them or to write the async message necessary to process them.
PC REQUEST CODE
Required. Used to indicate the action to be performed. Must be one of the options listed on the screen.
HOST SYSTEM RETURN CODE
Display only. The code returned by the host specifying whether the requested transaction was performed successfully.
COMMAND KEYS
