This screen displays either one lot issue or one lot receipt transaction from the Transaction File. The transaction was entered through Electronic Data Collection. It contains some error that prevents it from being processed. This screen allows you to review the transaction, identify any incorrect fields, and make the necessary corrections.
PLANT
Required. Identifies the plant from which the transaction was submitted. The plant code defaults from the user ID that entered the transaction.
PART NUMBER - PARENT
Required. The part whose components will be issued or received. The part must be an active manufacturing or build-thru part with a production type of JIT.
PRODUCTION CENTER
Required. Identifies the cell where the item was manufactured.
REVISION LEVEL
Optional. The version of the parent's product structure for which the component is being used.
PARENT LOT NUMBER
Required. The lot to which the parent part belongs. Must be an active, open, manufacturing lot. If the lot is on hold, a critical error message is displayed, and the lot is reverse imaged. No inventory may be issued from or received into a lot that is on hold.
REVERSAL CODE
Optional. Enter R if this transaction will back out a previously entered transaction. Otherwise, leave blank.
PART NUMBER - COMPONENT
Required. The component part to be issued or received.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Required. The stockkeeping unit of measure for the part being issued or received.
STOCK LOCATION
Required. The location from which the component is being issued or received. It must be a valid location defined on the Location File for the issuing company/warehouse.
COMPONENT LOT NUMBER
Required. The lot from which components are being issued or received. It must be a lot existing at the company/warehouse. If the lot is on hold, an error message is displayed, and the lot is reverse imaged. No inventory may be issued from or received into a lot that is on hold.
You can leave this field blank if your system is set up for automatic lot numbering. If it is, the next available lot number will default, and a warning message will be displayed. (This is true for non-reversals in by-product receipt mode.)
A lot number does not have to already exist for non-reversals in by-product receipt mode. A new lot number may be entered and it will be created by the Lot Control Inventory Relief/By-Product Receipt Program (JT150E).
LOT ISSUE QUANTITY
Required. The quantity of the component to be issued from the location and lot. May contain up to 3 decimal places.
TRANSACTION DATE
Required. The date when this transaction was captured through Electronic Data Collection. It cannot be later than the current date. The field is protected if valid.
LOT FIFO DATE
(This field is displayed only in by-product receipt mode.) Required if you are creating a new lot. Must be left blank if you are updating an existing lot. This date is used to establish the age of lot-controlled inventory so that the oldest inventory is used first and inventory obsolescence is minimized. You must enter the date using the appropriate date format (day/month/year, year/month/date, etc.) as defined on Reference File category 049.
