Bar Coded Documents
Several documents can be printed with bar codes in various fields. These documents may be scanned by a data collection device, such as a hand-held terminal, to obtain appropriate information necessary for use by the Electronic Data Collection module of MAC-PAC. The documents may also be printed without bar codes for manual entry into the system. Bar coded documents include the following:
· M.O. Pick List Tickets - These tickets show all components to be picked for a manufacturing order, as well as the stock location, quantity, and balance type of the components to be picked.
· Component Issue Tickets - These tickets indicate a single issue that is to be made to a manufacturing order.
· M.O. Receipt Tickets - These tickets are used to record the receipt of a manufacturing order on the shop floor.
· Labor/Move Tickets - These tickets provide a form for recording time and/or materials during the processing of an order. They are used in shop floor processing.
· Sales Order Pick Tickets - These tickets are used to show, for a particular sales order, which parts are required to fill the order.
· CONBON Cards - The CON cards authorize material production, while BON cards authorize the movement of material between cells.
