This screen is used to add, change, or delete revision levels. For change transactions, at least one field must change for the transaction to be valid.
NOTE: If you change the effectivity date for a revision level, or if you add a new revision level, you must rerun Master Scheduling and Requirements Planning to ensure that all variables affected by the revision level will be updated on the data base.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File Category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID.
PART NUMBER
This display only field indicates the part associated with the revision level to be added, changed, or deleted.
REVISION LEVEL
This display only field indicates the revision level to be added, changed, or deleted.
DESCRIPTION
Required. Enter a description of the changes to a part's structure or routing represented by this revision level. This field is user-defined.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Required. Enter the date on which the revision level will go into effect on the shop floor.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Revision Level Inquiry program.
F10 - Return to a blank transaction select screen to select a different part revision level and maintenance code.
F15 - Enter a different part and revision level for which to perform the current maintenance function.
