This screen allows you to enter data specific to your company and store it on the Part Master File. MAC-PAC must be modified to process any of these fields. This screen allows for up to 24 fields: 4 each of 6 different field types. You define the literals for each of the 6 types on a separate Reference File category.
o Type A - 4 alphanumeric fields, 25 characters each. Literals are defined on category D97.
o Type B - 4 alphanumeric flag fields, 1 character each. Literals are defined on category D96.
o Type C - 4 alphanumeric fields of 10 characters each. Literals are defined on category D94.
o Type D - 4 alphanumeric fields of 2, 3, 4, and 5 characters. Literals are defined on category D95.
o Type E - 4 numeric fields with 3 decimal positions (15 digits in all). Literals are defined on category D99.
o Type F - 4 numeric fields with 0 decimals (15 digits in all). Literals are defined on category D98.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where this part is used.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part for which information is being maintained. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
TYPE A FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D97. Field values are alphanumeric and up to 25 characters long.
TYPE B FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D96. Field values are 1-character alphanumeric flags.
TYPE C FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D94. Field values are alpha numeric and up to 10 characters long.
TYPE D FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D95. Field values are alpha numeric and 2, 3, 4, and 5 characters long.
TYPE E FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D99. Field values are numbers up to 15 significant digits with 3 decimal positions.
TYPE F FIELDS
Optional. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D98. Field values are integers with up to 15 significant digits.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update the Part Master file with all changes made throughout the screens in this conversation. Processing remains on the current screen while updates are saved to the Part Master file.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exits the program and returns to the menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F5 - Display the previous screen in the Part Master Maintenance conversation. May be used in conjunction with the F6 function key to page back and forth through these screens when creating a new part or modifying an existing part. This function key will not be displayed when the first available screen of this conversation is displayed. If you do not have authority for the previous screen, that screen is skipped over and the previous screen in the conversation is displayed.
F9 - Enter the Part Master Inquiry without updating changes.
F10 - Return control to the select screen.
F11 - Enter the Part Comments Maintenance without updating changes.
F15 - Reset screen to last saved version.
F24 - Display the next set of function keys.
