This screen displays comments for the part specified on the Function Select screen. If a comment group code was entered, only comments belonging to that group are displayed. If no group code was entered, all comments are displayed. To display a different group of comments, enter the new group code on this screen and press ENTER.
The reference fields (REF1 and REF2) contain user defined information. They may be used for sorting or to provide additional information about a comment. They do not affect system processing.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the item is manufactured or stored.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The item for which comments are displayed. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
CG - COMMENT GROUP CODE
Optional. To redisplay the screen with only comments belonging to one group, enter the group number in this field and press ENTER. If you enter a group code, it must exist on Reference File category D31.
TEXT
Display only. Text describing the item. Lines are displayed in the sequence specified through the Part Comments Maintenance conversation.
REF1
Display only. Text used for user-defined reporting.
REF2
Display only. Text used for user-defined reporting.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display comments for the indicated group.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Display the Design Engineering Application Menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Part Comments Maintenance Program.
F10 - Display the Function Select screen.
