This screen is used to request a display of product structure links that use a requested engineering change order number. If the parent part number is specified, only the components and sub-components of the parent part number will be taken in account.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER NUMBER
Required. A request for the change in the manufacturing process, for example a component substitution. Each ECO may affect one or many product structures and routings. Must be on the engineering change order file.
PARENT PART NUMBER
Optional. If entered, only the components and sub-components of the parent part number will be taken in account when searching for the input engineering change order number. Must be a manufactured, planning or build-thru part on the Part Master file. (This applies to product structures/request code 1). Must be manufactured or transfer part for routings/request code 2.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid (not blanks or nines) and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File Category 409).
REQUEST CODE
Required. Specifies request for a display of routings or product structures which use a particular ECO. Valid values:
1 - Inquire on product structures which use a specified ECO
2 - Inquire on routings which use a specified ECO
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display detail screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Initiates Engineering Change Order File Maintenance from inquiry.
