This screen displays the summarized where-used information for the part entered on the Function Select screen.
o Parents are organized by product structure level.
o The screen displays parents with the specified type(s).
o The screen displays parents in effect on the specified date or for the specified revision level. (If you entered a date, the system retrieves the corresponding level; if you entered a level, the system retrieves the corresponding date.)
o If a drawing number has been entered for the component part, the number is displayed at the top of the screen. The drawing number cross-references the engineering document that details the design of the component.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the parent items are manufactured.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The component part whose parents are displayed. The part number is reverse-imaged if it is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.

Display only. This is the part's stockkeeping unit of measure. It is retrieved from the Part Master File.
PARENT PART TYPES
Display only. Only parent parts with these part types are displayed. This field was entered on the Function Select screen.
REVISION LEVEL
Display only. Only parents having the component in effect for this revision level are displayed.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Display only. Only parents having the component in effect on this date are displayed.
DRAWING NUMBER
Display only. The number of the engineering document that details the design of the parent part.
LEVEL
Display only. The level where the parent uses the component. If the component is used directly to make the parent, the parent has level 1; immediate parents of level 1 parts have level 2; etc. The level is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
PARENT PART NUMBER
Display only. The unique number used to identify the parent on all screens and in the Part Master File. The parent part number is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
DESCRIPTION
Display only. The description stored on the Part Master File for the parent part. The description is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
PART TYPE
Display only. An abbreviation of the parent's part type. Typical abbreviations are MFG (manufactured part) and B/T (build thru part). The part type is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
LEAD TIME
Display only. The fixed lead time for the parent part. The number of working days the vendor takes to deliver or the fixed time portion of the manufacturing process required to complete one standard-size lot. The lead time is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
USAGE CODE
Display only. Indicates whether the component is produced (P) or consumed (C) when the parent item is manufactured. The usage code is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
ENGINEERING REVISION
Display only. The engineering revision under which the parent's design includes the component. The engineering revision is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
STOCKKEEPING UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The stockkeeping unit of measure for the parent. The unit of measure used to report and maintain inventory levels and movement. The unit of measure is reverse-imaged if the part number is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
