Codes and Decodes
Codes and Decodes
Each part type is associated with a code and a decode. The code is the character that you enter on a screen to indicate the part type. For example, to define an item as a purchased part, you enter 1 in the Part Type field on the Description screen. The decode is the literal used on screens and reports to indicate the part type.
The codes and decodes provided with the system are shown below.
