Create Warehouse Calendars

 

Create all calendars to be used in the company.  Note that each warehouse can use a different calendar.  A calendar code is associated with each warehouse when the warehouse is defined.  Therefore, you should complete this procedure before defining warehouses.

1.   Make sure that codes for all calendars you will be defining exist on Reference File category C13.  This category also determines whether Saturday and/or Sunday will be working days.

2.   Select the Calendar Maintenance menu option.

3.   Type the code of the calendar to the maintained.

4.   For each month, indicate whether or not each day is a working date.  The Saturday and Sunday work option flags specified on Reference File category C13 will determine whether the weekend days default to working or non-working days.
