You cannot change a manufacturing warehouse from one plant to another.

1.   To add a warehouse, repeat steps 3 through 6 in the Define Plants, Distribution Warehouses, and Stock Locations procedure.

2.   To change information for a warehouse, use the Plant/Warehouse Description conversation and change any fields.  Note that two fields cannot be changed for manufacturing warehouse:

·     Calendar Code.  This code cannot be changed because calendar-related activity might have been done based on the existing calendar.  For example, manufacturing orders might have been created based on the calendar.

·     Plant.

3.   To delete a warehouse:

a.   Delete all parts assigned to the plant, following the procedures for deleting parts.  Note that you may want to copy the parts to another plant before deleting them.

b.   Delete all stock locations associated with the warehouse.  Use the Location Maintenance conversation.

c.   Use the Plant/Warehouse Description Maintenance conversation to delete the warehouse.
