This screen is used to review at the summary level the labor load scheduled onto a workcenter. The labor hours are compared with available capacity and presented graphically.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the workcenter is located.
LAST CP GENERATION DATE
The date on which the generation of planned labor requirements was last performed. The load information displayed will not reflect changes to the order schedule which have been made since this date. You may wish to re-run the CP Generation to obtain the most up-to-date load picture. If Shop Floor Control is installed, load due to open and firmed orders will be completely current. That due to planned orders will be current only as of the last generation date.
FROM (START DATE)
Display only. The load was calculated beginning with this date. Start date was specified on the function select screen.
TO (END DATE)
Display only. The load has been calculated through this date. End date was specified on the function select screen.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter for which load information is displayed.
MACHINE/LABOR PACED FLAG
Display only. Indicates whether the workcenter is machine-paced (M) or labor-paced (L).
DEPARTMENT NUMBER
Display only. The department where the workcenter is located.
HOURS PER DAY
Display only. The standard number of hours available at the workcenter each day.
INCLUDE SETUP IN LOAD
Display only. Specifies whether the load calculations include load from setup. Values are Y (yes) and N (no).
PERIOD END DATE
Display only. The cutoff date for each period. The length of the time periods displayed is defined by the number of days per period in the period mask. The first period represents all load before the start date entered on the select screen.
TOTAL LOAD
Display only. The outstanding labor hours scheduled to be performed at the workcenter in each period. This may or may not include setup time, depending on the workcenter option.
EFFECTIVE CAPACITY
Display only. The capacity for each period, calculated from the labor hours per day which was defined in the Effective Capacity maintenance conversation.
PERCENTAGE LOAD
Display only. The graph shows total load as a percentage of total capacity for each period. The letters in the graph represent open, firmed and planned order contribution to the outstanding workload. The detailed operations which make up the summary totals may be reviewed by selecting the required period with an 'X' and pressing Command 12.
SELECT
Optional. To view a detailed breakdown of the load for one period, type an X in this field and press F12.
