This screen allows the user to submit requests for CON cards to be printed using a free-form format (empty screen).
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user id.
PRODUCTION CENTER
The production center entered on the select screen.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. This field is displayed only if the net change option was selected. Specify whether to add or remove the print quantity to increase or decrease the current number of cards on the shop floor. Valid values are:
1 - Add and print the card quantity requested
2 - Remove the card quantity requested
3 - Replace existing cards
PART NUMBER
Required. Must be a valid part number. The part number is a unique identification associated with manufactured, assembled, purchased, or reference items.
REVISION LEVEL
Optional. Enter an existing level of engineering change that is to be in effect for the part number on the card.
BEGIN DATE
Optional. Enter the first date on which the card should be used.
END DATE
Optional. Enter the last date on which the card should be used.
CONTAINER QUANTITY
Optional. Enter the number of parts to go into an individual container on the shop floor.
PRINT CARDS
Required. Enter the number of cards to add, remove, or replace on the shop floor. Must be a positive integer.
ONE TIME
Optional. If the CON card is to account for a spike in demand then the quantity is a one-time quantity. Enter X if the CON card is a one-time card. One-time cards do not update the part's CON card count.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit and return to main menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Transaction Review Program to review and delete requests.
F10 - Return to the select screen without submitting request.
F11 - Call the Card Print Program directly to process all cards within the requested production center. This command key suspends processing until all request records are processed.
