This screen will allow the user to submit requests for BON and single cards to be printed using a free-form format (empty subfile).
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user id.
PRODUCTION CENTER
Displays the production center entered on the select screen.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. Either add or remove the print quantity to increase or decrease the current number of cards on the shop floor. Valid values are:
1 - Print and add the card quantity requested
2 - Remove the card quantity requested
3 - Replace existing cards
PART NUMBER
Required. Must be a valid part number. The part number is a unique identification associated with manufactured, assembled, purchased or reference items.
REVISION LEVEL
Optional. Optional. Input an existing level of engineering change that is to be in effect for the part number on the card.
BEGIN DATE
Optional. Begin date for the card to be printed. Must be blank if removing cards from the shop floor. All removes will be performed last for each part.
END DATE
Optional. End date for the card to be printed. Must be blank if removing cards from the shop floor.
CONTAINER QUANTITY
Optional. Number of parts to go into an individual container on the shop floor.
PRINT CARDS
Required. The number of cards to add, remove, or replace on the shop floor. Must be a positive integer.
PARENT PART NUMBER
Optional. The number of the parent part associated with the component. If entered must be a valid part number on the Part Master. The parent to component relationship must be a valid relationship on the Product Structure File. The parent part number is used to retrieve and format the using location for the component part number on the card.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit and return to main menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Transaction Review program to review and delete requests.
F10 - Return to the select screen without submitting request.
F11 - Call the Card Print Program directly to process all cards within the requested production center. This command key suspends processing until all request records are processed.
