Single-Card CONBON

When a container of components is emptied at final assembly, someone at the final assembly cell removes the single card from the empty container and places it in a single-card collection box.  Production at the cell continues, using parts from a full container that had been requested earlier.

Periodically, an employee checks all the collection boxes at cells in an assigned plant or area, gathering single cards and leaving behind full containers corresponding to cards picked up during the previous run.  The employee delivers the new single cards to the producing cell, where they are placed on full containers to be delivered during the next run.  Empty containers are gathered from using production centers and taken to producing production centers.
