Net Change Quantity
Net Change Quantity
Net change quantity typically is used within a flow interval when the demand for a part or parts has changed since the cards were printed last. Net change processing is not appropriate for a new flow interval, because it merely changes the current number of cards. At the beginning of a new flow interval, all cards from the previous flow interval must be replaced with regenerated cards to update information such as begin and end dates.
As in total suggested quantity processing, the number of cards is updated on the Part Master File.
