This screen allows you to request one of the following reports:
o Single-Level Explosion. Lists all documents associated with a single part number in a single plant. Can be requested for all parts in a single plant.
o Indented Explosion. Lists the documents associated with a single part and ALL of its components (regardless of effectivity date) in a single plant. Components are grouped by level.
o Single-Level Where-Used. Lists the parts in their respective plants associated with a single document number. Can be requested for all documents.
The requested report will not be generated until the Bill of Documents Retrieval batch job is submitted from the Bill of Documents Processing Menu.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user id, but may be changed via Command Key 17.
REQUEST CODE
Required. Must be one of the options listed on the screen
PART NUMBER
o Required for Single-Level Explosion.
o Required for Indented Explosion.
o Must be blank for Single-Level Where-Used.
Enter the part whose document structure information you want. For the Single-Level Explosion report, you can enter ALL to generate the report for all parts. (You cannot enter ALL for the Indented Explosion Report.)
DOCUMENT NUMBER
o Must be blank for Single-Level Explosion.
o Must be blank for Indented Explosion.
o Required for Single-Level Where-Used.
Enter the document whose where-used information you want. To generate the report for all documents, enter ALL.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Required. Only document/plant/part relationships in effect on this date are included in the report. The field defaults to the current date. To see all documents or parts, regardless of effectivity, enter ALL.
REQUESTOR
Optional. Identifies the person or department requesting the report..
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Submit the report request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Display the BOD Application Menu without requesting the report.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F16 - Used to change the printer location or output queue to which the report will be routed.
F17 - Change the plant in which the user is currently working.
