This screen allows you to:
o Enter information describing the effectivity of a new plant/part/ operation/document relationship. All fields are optional.
o Change the effectivity information for an existing relationship.
o Confirm that a relationship should be deleted. For delete transactions, all fields are Display Only. To verify that the record should be deleted, press the Enter key.
To exit this screen without updating the Document Structure File, press F3 or F10.
PLANT
Display only. The plant for which the document relationship is defined. It was entered on the Function Select screen.
PART NUMBER
Display only. Entered on the Function Select screen.
OPERATION NUMBER
Display only. Entered on the Function Select screen.
DOCUMENT NUMBER
Display only. Entered on the Function Select screen.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - IN
Optional. Identifies the engineering change order that caused the document and part to be related. Must exist on the Engineering Changes File.
ENGINEERING EFFECTIVITY DATE - IN
Optional. The date when the in-engineering change order becomes effective.
ENGINEERING CHANGE ORDER - OUT
Optional. Identifies the engineering change order that ends the document/plant/part relationship. Must exist on the Engineering Changes File.
ENGINEERING EFFECTIVITY DATE - OUT
Optional. The date when the out-engineering change order becomes effective. Leave this field blank if you want a default date applied. Otherwise, the date applied will be that specified in this field.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update the Document Structure File.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Display the BOD Application Menu without updating the file.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the BOD Single-Level Inquiry, which lists all documents associated with the part number in the specified plant.
F10 - Display the Function Select screen without updating the file.
F11 - Enter the Routing File Maintenance program, which allows you to select a maintenance function for defining operations required to manufacture a part or product. When exiting the Multi-Line Routing File Maintenance screen, control returns to the Manufacturing Engineering Application Menu.
F12 - Enter the Routing Retrieval Inquiry program, which allows you to request a display of all routing steps for a specified part. Exiting the Routing Inquiry screen returns you to the present Document Structure Maintenance Change screen.
F15 - Undo any changes made to screen fields.
