This screen is used to enter key information for a Reference File category record. The fields that comprise the key are different for each category. Consequently, this screen will look different for each category. The Reference File Categories manual contains an example of how the key validation screen (S01) looks for each category. For information about what data should be entered for a category, refer to that manual or to the corresponding help text.
KEY
Required. The data to be entered in each position of the key is indicated at the top of the screen.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Displays the detailed screen for the specified record.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Return to the previous menu.
F7 - Display the Reference File Maintenance Select screen, allowing you to select another category.
F8 - Display a list of all records defined for the category.
F9 - Call the Reference File Inquiry Program.
