This screen allows you to translate part information from the system's base language to a secondary language. This translated information will be used in printing customer and vendor documents in their associated language. It displays part information beginning with the part you selected on the previous screen, the Multi-Language Translation Search Detail screen (CF805S01). You can page down to see part number later in the alphabet. You cannot page up to see parts before the initial one. You are allowed to translate the Part Number, Part Description, Search Argument, Part Description 2, Selling Description 1, Selling Description 2, Purchasing Description 1, and Purchasing Description 2 for each part.
PLANT
Display only. The plant for which the part information translation will be done.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part whose description information is shown and can be translated. It is not translatable and will always be shown in the base language. When the screen is initially displayed, the first part is the one selected on the Multi-Language Translation Search screen (CF805S01).
PART DESCRIPTION
Left description is Display only. Right description is Required. The left description is in the base language of the system. This description is stored on the Part Master File (DE100M). The right description is to be entered in a secondary language. This description will be printed on customer and vendor documents in their associated language. If this field exists, it has already been translated and you can type a new translation over the existing one. If its blank, it has not been translated yet. If you enter a part description and press Enter, your description will be defaulted to the Search Argument, Selling Description 1, and Purchasing Description 1 fields. If any of these fields are filled in they will not be replaced by the defaulting.
SEARCH ARGUMENT
Left description is Display only. Right description is Required. The left description is in the base language of the system. This description is stored on the Part Master File (DE100M). The right description is to be entered in a secondary language. This description will be printed on customer and vendor documents in their associated language. If this field exists, it has already been translated and you can type a new translation over the existing one. If its blank, it has not been translated yet. If Part Description is translated and this field is blank it will be automatically filled in with the same text when Enter is pressed.
PART DESCRIPTION 2

COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update the selected records and keep you at the detail screen. Detail validation is performed and if no errors occur the records are updated to the Part Master Translation File (CF260M).
F3 - End the program and return to the menu without saving changes.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without saving changes.
F15 - Return the screen fields to their original values from the file. Any changes made since the screen was last saved will be lost.
F22 - Update the selected records and return you to the Function Select screen. Detail validation is performed and if no errors occur the records are updated to the Part Master Translation File (CF260M).
