This screen searches the Part Master File and allows you to select the initial part for the Part Master Translation Program (CF260E). It can display parts by item number and by search code. Once translated these parts will be used in the printing of customer and vendor documents associated with their language code. It displays the part numbers in the base language of the system and the search code in both the base and secondary languages.
PLANT
Display only. The plant for which the part information translation will be done.
SELECT
Optional. Used to select a part for translation. Enter an 'X' in this field and press Enter to begin translation with this part. You will be taken to the Part Master Translation Detail Screen (CF260S02).
ITEM NUMBER
Display only. This is the part which is to be translated. It is retrieved from the Part Master File and is displayed in the system's base language.
BASE LANGUAGE SEARCH CODE
Display only. This is the search code associated with the part number. It is retrieved from the Part Master File and is displayed in the system's base language.
TRANSLATED SEARCH CODE
Display only. This is the translated search code associated with the part number. It is retrieved from the Part Master Translation File and is displayed in the secondary language specified on the Function Select screen. If this field is blank the part information has not been translated.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Validates the selected field and takes you to the Part Master Translation File Maintenance Detail screen (CF260S02).
F3 - End the program and return to the menu.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen.
