The Event Maintenance Dispatch screen allows you to specify how extracted event information should be routed.
TYPE
Display only. This is the event type code specified on the Function Select screen.
DESCRIPTION
Display only. This is the event type description specified on the Event Detail screen.
ROUTE CODE
Optional. If standard routing codes have been defined on Reference File category N09, a standard routing can be entered here rather than specifying the routing information in detail.
Standard routing codes, as defined on Reference File category N09, include all the same routing information that would otherwise be specified on this screen except the control value information. Standard routing codes are useful if the same set of routings are used for several different event types.
If a route code is entered in this field, the Route Based On, Control Value Minimum, Control Value Maximum, and Mailbox ID fields must be left blank. Control value information can be specified in the extract program or query since it is not part of the information defined for a standard routing code.
ROUTE CODE DESCRIPTION
Display only. If a value is entered in the Route Code field, the description of the code is retrieved from Reference File category N08.
DELETE
Optional. Enter D in this field and press the Enter key to delete the corresponding event routing.
ROUTE BASED ON
Optional. The specific data used to determine if event information should be routed to the corresponding BPM mailbox ID. If the extracted information for an event contains the information specified here, it will be routed to the mailbox ID specified in the corresponding Mailbox ID field.
To route all occurrences of an event to a specific BPM mailbox, enter *ALL in this field.
The type of information to be entered here is specified in the Route Based On Description field on the Event Detail screen.
CONTROL VALUE MINIMUM
Optional. The minimum tolerance level used in determining if information about a specific event should be routed to the associated mailbox ID. If the control value of the event is greater than the value entered here and less than the value in the corresponding Control Value Maximum field, the event information will be routed to the associated BPM mailbox.
The type of information to be used as the control value for the event is specified on the Event Detail screen.
CONTROL VALUE MAXIMUM
Optional. The maximum tolerance level used in determining if information about a specific event should be routed to the associated mailbox ID. If the control value of the event is greater than the value in the Control Value Minimum field and less than the value entered here, the event information will be routed to the associated BPM mailbox.
The type of information to be used as the control value for the event is specified on the Event Detail screen.
MAILBOX ID
Required. Indicates the BPM mailbox ID to which event information should be routed if it falls within the parameters defined in the corresponding Route Based On, Control Value Minimum, and Control Value Maximum fields.
BPM mailbox IDs are associated with a particular user ID and workstation ID in Reference File category N03.
