This screen displays comment text for Business Process Manager (BPM) event types.  On this screen, you can add new lines (up to 9,999 lines of text), as well as change, delete, and rearrange comment text.

EVENT TYPE

Display only.  Code indicating the type of event for which you are maintaining comments.

RENUMBER BY

Optional.  The increment to be used when new sequence numbers are assigned.  For example, if you enter 5 in the Renumber By field, the new sequence numbers will be 5, 10, 15... when you press the Renumber (F18) key.  If this field is blank, lines are renumbered by 10.

TEXT

This area contains comment text.  Up to 9,999 lines of text may be written.  Each text line can contain up to 57 characters.

SEQUENCE

The number indicating the order in which comment lines should be displayed and printed.  Initially, the system displays sequence numbers in increments of 10.  To rearrange lines, type over the current numbers.

DELETE

Enter any alphanumeric character in this field and press the Enter key to delete the corresponding comment line.

TEXT LINE

Optional.  To insert a line of text, type the text on this line and enter the appropriate sequence number in the Sequence field to indicate where you would like the text line to appear.  Press the Enter key to insert the text.

SEQUENCE

Optional.  This field indicates where the text that you enter on the text line will be placed.

COMMAND KEYS

F3    - Return to the Event Maintenance Detail screen.

F5    - Move to the first line of text.

F6    - Move to the last line of text.

F10   - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the entered data.

F13   - Allows you to enter text in all fields, or only text fields.  This function key toggles between Key All Text and Key Text Only.

F15   - Clear all fields that you have just entered in order to enter new data.

F18 - Renumber the text fields by the quantity specified in the Renumber By field.

F19 - Update the Comments Master File (CF190M) with the changes you have made to the comments.

F24 - Display additional command keys that are valid for the current screen.
