This screen is used to display the contents of the Account/Center Master File record identified on the Account/Center Select screen. This screen contains the current year actual financial amounts for the periods indicated. For Balance Sheet accounts, this amount is the account balance at the end of the fiscal period. For Income Statement accounts, this amount is the net debit or credit total of transactions for the period. This screen also contains the financial budget amounts assigned to an account for the default budget year/ sequence indicated.
The Account/Center Master File record key (company, location, account number, center number) entered on the Account/Center Select Screen are also displayed, but these fields cannot be changed.
COMPANY
Display only. This field specifies the company to which the account being processed belongs.
LOCATION
Display only. This field specifies the location to which the account being processed belongs.
ACCOUNT
Display only. This field specifies the account number to be processed.
CENTER
Display only. This field specifies the center associated with the account being processed.
PERIOD
Display only. The period for which actual and budget amounts are displayed.
ACTUAL AMOUNT
Display only. These fields show the balance or the debit or credit total for each of the fiscal periods specified.
BUDGET AMOUNT
Display only. These fields display the budget amounts assigned to an Income Statement or Balance Sheet account for each of the fiscal periods specified. The budget amount for a fiscal period on an Income Statement account contains the planned period total for the account. The budget amount for a Balance Sheet account contains the planned account balance as of the end of the period.
QUARTER-TO-DATE AMOUNT
Display only. This field displays the net debit or credit total of transactions for all periods from the beginning of the current fiscal quarter to the last period posted.
YEAR-TO-DATE AMOUNT
Display only. This field displays the net debit or credit total of transactions for all periods from the beginning of the current fiscal year to the last period posted.
YEAR-END AMOUNT LAST YEAR
Display only. This field displays the balance or the net debit or credit total of transactions for the last fiscal year.
CURRENT PERIOD AMOUNT LAST YEAR
Display only. This field displays the ending balance or the net debit or credit total of transactions for the prior year fiscal period corresponding to the current period. This field does not appear if a prior year record does not exist.
QUARTER-TO-DATE LAST YEAR
Display only. This field displays the net debit or credit total of transactions for all periods in the prior fiscal year from the beginning of the corresponding fiscal quarter to the period corresponding to the last period posted this year. This field does not appear if a prior year record does not exist.
YEAR-TO-DATE LAST YEAR
Display only. This field displays the net debit or credit total of transactions for all periods in the prior fiscal year from the beginning of the fiscal year to the period corresponding to the last period posted this year. This field does not appear if a prior year record does not exist.
BUDGET YEAR
Display only This field displays the default budget year used to display budget amounts.
BUDGET SEQUENCE
Display only. This field displays the default budget sequence used to display budget amounts.
QUARTER-TO-DATE BUDGET AMOUNT
Display only. This field displays the total budget amount for all periods from the beginning of the current fiscal quarter to the last post.
YEAR-TO-DATE BUDGET AMOUNT
Display only. This field displays the total budget amount for all periods from the beginning of the current fiscal year to the last period posted (for an Income Statement account) or the Budget Amount for the current period minus the Year-End Amount Last Year (for a Balance Sheet account).
REMAINING BUDGET
Display only. The total budget amount for all periods after the last period posted to the end of the fiscal year.
COMMAND KEYS
F7 - Used to return to the Account/Center Master File Detail Screen.
F8 - Used to display the Account/Center Master File Statistical Data Screen, if statistical data is included.
F13 - Used to cancel transaction request and to return to the Function Select screen.
F22 - Used to commit transaction request to add, change, reactivate, or deactivate account, and return to the Function Select screen.
