Actual Material Costs

 

Job Purchases

Quantity

If the actual material costing option on Reference File category D52 is P (purchase order) or S (standard) then:

QUANTITY = Sum of the PO Receipt Quantity on the PO Receipt Audit Trails.

If the actual material costing option is I (invoice) then:

QUANTITY = Sum of the Invoice Quantity on the Invoice/Receipt Match File.

Total Cost

If the actual material costing option on Reference File category D52 is P (PO) then:

TOTAL COST = PO Unit Cost from PO Receipt Audit Trail File times PO Receipt Quantity.

If the actual material costing option is S (standard) then:

TOTAL COST is calculated for the Job Cost Report using the accounting standard cost from the Part Master File.

If the actual material costing option is I (invoice) then:

TOTAL COST is calculated using the total invoice amount on the Invoice File.

Net Transfers To (From) Job Inventory

Quantity

QUANTITY = Sum of the quantities from transfer to and transfer from Audit Trails.

Total Cost

TOTAL COST is calculated for the Job Cost Report using the accounting standard cost from the Part Master File.

Issues From Group Inventory

Quantity

QUANTITY = Sum of the quantities from issues audit trails with an inventory issue type of G.

Total Cost

TOTAL COST is calculated for the Job Cost Report using the accounting standard cost from the Part Master File.

Issues From Common Inventory

Quantity

QUANTITY = Sum of the quantities from issue audit trails with a blank inventory issue type.

Total Cost

TOTAL COST is calculated for the Job Cost Report using the accounting standard cost from the Part Master File.

Adjustments

Quantity

QUANTITY = Sum of the quantities from adjustment audit trails.  Depending on the adjustment code on Reference File category 432, the audit trail quantity is either added or subtracted.

Total Cost

TOTAL COST is calculated for the Job Cost Report using the accounting standard cost from the Part Master File.
