This screen lists each operation for the order which is performed within a miscellaneous cost workcenter. These operations may occur at sub-contractors or other plants within your company. Alternatively, they may be dummy operation steps included in the routing to add some extra cost to the manufacture of the ordered item.
In a multi-currency environment, the base currency is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, immediately to the left of the date.
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the manufacturing order is produced. It was specified on the Function Select screen.
CURRENCY CODE
Display only. The base currency for the company/location that is associated with the plant. All costs on the screen are expressed in this currency.
ORDER NUMBER
Display only. The manufacturing order for which miscellaneous cost information is displayed.
PART NUMBER/DESCRIPTION
Display only. The number and description of the parent part that is produced on this manufacturing order.
ORDER STATUS
Display only. The manufacturing order's status. The possible values are:
O - Open (order is in process)
C - Manufacturing Closed (All manufacturing steps are complete for the order, but the accounting activity is not completed for the order.)
Z - Accounting Closed (The order is closed, the grace period has expired, and the period end accounting activity has been completed.)
START DATE
Display only. The planned start date for the first operation for the manufacturing order. This is calculated based on the due date.
ORDER QUANTITY
Display only. The total quantity of the parent part that is planned to be produced for this manufacturing order. It is expressed in the part's stockkeeping unit of measure.
DUE DATE
Display only. The planned due date for the manufacturing order.
QUANTITY RECEIVED
Display only. The actual quantity of the part that has been received into inventory to date for the manufacturing order.
CLOSE DATE
Display only. The date when the manufacturing order was recorded as closed.
BALANCE DUE
Display only. The difference between the order quantity and the quantity received.
MISCELLANEOUS COST LEAD TIME
Display only. The standard miscellaneous cost for miscellaneous operations not associated with an outside processor.
CONFIGURATION CODE
Display only. This code identifies the options selected for a specific configured part. It uniquely identifies the characteristics of the configured part.
SELECT
Optional. To see detailed information about the costs associated with a miscellaneous operation, type an X in this field and press F5.
OPERATION NUMBER/LINE
Display only. The operation number and line associated with the routing step. A non-zero line number represents an alternate operation.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The miscellaneous cost workcenter where the operation was performed. Miscellaneous cost workcenters typically represent processes performed outside of the factory.
QUANTITY COMPLETE
Display only. The quantity of the ordered item that has been recorded as complete at this operation.
ACTUAL MISCELLANEOUS COST
Display only. The actual miscellaneous cost incurred to produce the completed quantity, based on the miscellaneous cost rates defined for the workcenter and part. It is calculated as the fixed miscellaneous cost plus (labor hours times labor-based rate) plus (machine hours times machine-based rate) plus (actual overhead times overhead-based rate).
STANDARD MISCELLANEOUS COST OF RECEIPTS
Display only. Expected miscellaneous cost, based upon the number of the ordered item completed for the order as a whole, and the standard miscellaneous cost for the workcenter.
ORDER BALANCE
Display only. The difference between the actual and standard miscellaneous cost. This figure represents the variance from standard for the operation.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the previous screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program.
F5 - Display detailed miscellaneous cost transactions.
F6 - Display summary cost information for the order.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen.
F20 - Print a hard copy of the miscellaneous costs for the order.
