This screen allows you to select a manufacturing order for cost analysis. If you enter an order number, you can choose to view summary, material, labor/burden, or miscellaneous costs. From whichever screen you choose, you will be able to press a function key to view any of the other cost screens.
If you do not know what manufacturing order you wish to view, you can enter the parent part number on this screen and request the All Orders for Part option. All manufacturing orders for the part will be listed. You can then select one of the orders and display the summary cost screen for the order.
The inquiry allows you to detect manufacturing variances and to trace the source of these variances. Actual, standard, and variance cost figures are shown at a summary level and may be displayed at increasing levels of detail, as requested.
This inquiry uses standard (as opposed to accounting) costs throughout.
