Cost Regeneration
Cost Regeneration
If there are changes in the standard cost of non-configured items, raw materials, labor, or overhead rates, you can regenerate the configured costs through the Configuration Cost Regeneration conversation. Cost regeneration may be performed for all configured items, for specific configured items, or for selected sales order lines. Costs are regenerated for the configuration code and are based on manufacturing orders for the most recent sales order associated with the configuration code. Costs can be maintained manually through the Configuration Code Maintenance conversation and can be 'frozen' so that they are not updated during the cost regeneration.
