The Expected Payments Report Selection Screen submits a call to the Expected Payments Report Program (AR190E). The expected payment date is calculated based on one of the following statuses of the open item:
1) Open Item is not overdue.
Open Item Accounting Date + Average Days to Pay = Expected Payment Date
If the open item due date is greater than the expected payment date, the due date will be used as the expected payment date instead.
2) Open Item is overdue, but has a dunning level of 0. This condition will occur for one of three reasons. Either dunning is not being used (thus no dunning data exists on Reference File category 352); dunning is being used, but dunning data has not been set up on Reference File category 352; or dunning is being used, and data has been set up on Reference File category 352. The program for this case will calculate the expected payment date depending on whether Reference File category 352 has been set for the first dunning level:
If category 352 has been setup:
Current Date + Grace Period on category 351 + Limit Days on category 352 = Exp. Payment Date
If category 352 has not been setup:
Open Item Due Date + Average Days Late = Expected Payment Date
3) Open Item is overdue and has been dunned. For this case, the expected payment date is calculated as follows:
Last Dunning Date + Limit Days on category 352 = Expected Payment Date
The open item is only expected if the selected payment date is less than the cut-off date. The report range can be limited through entry of additional optional parameters. The report can be created in different detail levels.
CUTOFF DATE
Required. Used to determine the report horizon. Must be a valid date.
SELECT BY COMPANY
Optional. Required if Customer From or Customer To is entered. Enter a valid company from Reference File category 002. If company is selected, the report will show expected payments for that company only.
SELECT BY LOCATION
Optional. Required if Customer From or Customer To is entered. Enter a valid location from Reference File category 002. If location is selected, the report will show expected payments for that location only.
SELECT BY CUSTOMER FROM
Optional. Enter a valid bill-to customer from the Customer Master File. If you enter a customer, you may need to enter a company and location also. Only those customers with a number greater than or equal to this value are selected. If both Customer From and Customer To are selected, the Customer From field must be smaller or equal to the Customer To field.
SELECT BY CUSTOMER TO
Optional. Enter a valid bill-to customer from the Customer Master File. If you enter a customer, you may need to enter a company and location also. Only those customers with a number greater than or equal to this value are selected. LEVEL OF DETAIL
Required. This field determines the report detail level. Valid values are defined on Reference File category F90. The following categories are standard for the system:
D - All open items and totals for each customer for every payment date, as well as a break total for payment date are reported.
C - For each customer, the totals per payment date, without open items are printed.
P - Only the totals per expected payment date are printed.
