Prepare Aged Accounts Receivable Report

The Aged Accounts Receivable Report lists the invoices and customer amounts due for six aging categories.  If you do not want customers with an Accounts Receivable balance of zero to be printed on the report, the print zero balance option on Reference File category P43 should be set to N (no).  This report can be printed for a group of customers or for a specific customer.  An additional report is also printed that will list customers not processed by the request and a description of why the customer was not processed.  If a customer(s) was processed, and there were no errors, the report will indicate that all selected customer(s) were processed.  If  a customer was requested, but the customer could not be aged, then the report will print that customer number and reason.  To prepare this report, perform the procedures listed below.

Display Report Selection Criteria Screen

1.   Enter the Credit Management Reports option on the Accounts Receivable Menu to display the Report Selection Criteria screen (AR300S01).

Select Aged Accounts Receivable Report

2.   Enter an X in the select field next to Aged Accounts Receivable.  This submits a job to print the Aged Accounts Receivable Report.

The aging as of date and level of detail information also must be entered.  Valid codes for level of detail are:

D - Print all information.

S - Print only customer totals.

The optional fields may be used to limit the data listed to a credit manager and/or from-through statement cycle as well as to a single customer. (See the screen description for the Report Selection Criteria screen for an explanation of from and through parameters.)

After this option has been selected, the Accounts Receivable Menu is redisplayed.

Select Aging Only, No Report

3.   To perform aging without printing a report, enter an A in the level of detail field and leave the report selection fields blank.  If an A is entered and a report is selected, the Report Selection Criteria screen is redisplayed with an error message.

After this option has been selected, the Accounts Receivable Menu is redisplayed.
