Dispatch advice messages are the teletransmitted image of the shipping list enclosed with each shipment sent to a customer.  The dispatch advice is sent from the shipping warehouse to the customer when the goods are shipped.  The Dispatch Advice Messages Re-transmit Screen (GA320S04) handles re-transmission of shipping advice messages (AVIEXP).  You can request to re-transmit a dispatch advice message by entering the message number or the shipped shipping list number.

Shipping messages are the transmitted image of the ship list report.  This transaction allows either the re-transmission of ODETTE, VDA, or ANSI shipping messages.  You can request to retransmit a shipping message by entering the shipping proposal number and the shipping list number.
