DELINS/VDA are the electronically transmitted delivery requests sent to you from your customers. If a request message contains an error, it is rejected and placed in the Erroneous DELINS/VDA File. The DELINS/VDA Maintenance Function Select Screen (GA215S01) allows you to access rejected DELINS/VDA messages and maintain them. This enables you to re-transmit the corrected messages.
You can request to display erroneous messages, and perform DELINS/VDA acquisition simulation to check the message's validity in real time, hold, release, delete or reactivate. You can only perform acquisition simulation if you are authorized to accept partial DELINS on Reference File category G26 (Synchro Daily Batch Parameters).
FILE
Required. Enter the message file type to be changed. Currently, the only file you can enter is '1' - DELINS/VDA File. The system will then display the list of the selected messages.
MESSAGE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Optional. Allows you to display the list of messages from a given acquisition date, date/time, or message identification number (date/time/6 digit identification number).
SENDER EDI IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Optional. Allows you to display the list of messages for a given sender, assuming that the 'Sender' field is correctly entered in the files by the syntax translation program.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Validates the entered data and displays the detail screen.
F2 - Displays a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exits this screen without validating or updating the entered data.
