The item line and item detail segment (ARD) is a mandatory segment that defines the article to be delivered. Multiple ARD segments can exist for one delivery instruction. A separate ARD segment must exist for each combination of item, order, and technical status. For example, if the delivery instruction includes two orders for the same item, two ARD segments are required.
All segments occurring after an ARD segment relate to the item specified in that segment, until the next ARD segment appears.
SEGMENT TYPE
Display only. Text identifying the type of message segment displayed.
SEGMENT CODE
Display only. Three-character code identifying the type of segment being displayed.
ERROR MESSAGE
Display only. Displayed only if the segment contains an error. A message is displayed in red indicating what caused the message to fail validation.
INTERNATIONAL ID
Display only. International identification number allocated to the trading partner.
