The Label Maintenance - Handling Unit Relationships screen allows you to add the handling labels corresponding to a shipment when using VDA messaging. You must enter the shipping proposal corresponding to the shipment and the packaging label numbers that make up the shipment.
A number is automatically assigned to the main handling unit label you are creating.
The packaging labels you enter cannot be associated with a handling label already, and all packaging units must correspond to the same item. If you want to create a handling unit label that covers a shipment of multiple items, you must choose the Mixed Handling Unit Label (label type 4) from the Function Select screen. Labels prepared for a previous shipping proposal and not yet used for a pallet can be used again as long as they correspond to identical shipping conditions (same endorsement).
