The Label Maintenance - Packaging Unit or Simplified Handling Unit Screen (GA160S02) allows you to create packaging or simplified handling unit labels.
The number of labels generated depends on the information defined in the endorsement associated to the shipping proposal, including:
o The ordering unit and the conversion factor SKU/OU;
o The packaging unit and the conversion factor SKU/PU;
o The handling unit and the conversion factor HU/PU.
The quantity (expressed in ordering unit) appearing on each label also depends on this data.
You can review the item quantity in ordering unit by label, as well as the total quantity shipped.
Simplified handling labels are processed as packaging labels. After validation, the system creates records in the label file by assigning a unique label number to each one.
Generated labels are immediately printed if stock is available.
